The legend of the Dream Catcher is believed to have originated with the Oneida Indians in the United States.

To Native Americans, dreams have special meanings. A Dream Catcher catches dreams that float in the night air, allowing good dreams to flow through the centre of the web and bad dreams to be caught and destroyed by the morning Sun.

Dream Catchers are given to people of all ages so that they have pleasant dreams that may eventually come true.
